We are looking for a Senior Accountant who is mastering local Swiss accounting and tax regulations, with advanced knowledge of English and native German, to oversee the accounting and tax compliance of our Swiss subsidiary.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of the entity based in Switzerland, including trend analysis and balance sheet reconciliation
- Preparation and filing of VAT returns
- Preparation and filing of all tax returns
- Preparation of annual Statutory Financial statements
- Oversee internal and external communications (tax office, banks, auditors, consultants)
- Oversee Accounts payable and check payments
- Responsible for the controlling of the Swiss entity
- Assist in the development of internal reporting and ad hoc analysis as required
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a similar environment
- German as a native language is a must
- Professional Microsoft Excel and ERP knowledge
- Strong Background with Swiss Local Code, Swiss GAAP standards, and US GAAP is a plus
- High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Strong written, and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Team player with a positive attitude, willing to go the extra mile and help out, sees challenges as opportunities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Management experience is a plus
- Passion and commitment to succeed by working hard and never giving up
