Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer

As a Senior ML Operations Engineer you will play a pivotal role in enhancing company’s customer support, sales processes, and data analytics capabilities. You will analyze business data and Support/Sales processes, design AI/ML implementation, set requirements to the development team, organize and participate in UAT and roadmap planning/AI/ML in support/sales vision, act as AI/ML product owner and go to person on AI/ML automatization for sales and support users.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Configure, deploy and manage Azure-based machine learning infrastructure, including virtual machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Machine Learning (AML) workspaces, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure SQL/Cosmos DB
- Set up and maintain on-premises infrastructure for local execution of ML projects
- Automate resource provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates)
- Develop and manage end-to-end ML pipelines using Airflow for orchestrating data ingestion, preprocessing, training, and retraining tasks
- Monitor model performance, infrastructure health, and resource utilization in real-time
- Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for deployed ML models and associated infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with software developers, data scientists, ML engineers, and researchers to align technical solutions with business requirements
- Continuously optimize deployment workflows and integrate emerging ML Ops tools and best practices
WHAT YOU BRING
Scripting & languages:
- Advanced proficiency: Python (mandatory), Go (optional)
- Good to have: TypeScript, C#, Git
Infrastructure and Orchestration Tools
- Proficiency in pipeline orchestration tools, eg. Airflow, MLflow, Terraform
- Familiarity with Azure Services and Platform (AWS / GCP and readiness to use Asure)
- Containerization Knowledge: Docker, Kubernetes
