WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, OEM relationships, and strategic alliances.
- Drive all aspects of the deal process, including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, negotiations, and integration planning.
- Develop and manage long-term relationships with OEM partners, strategic allies, venture capital firms, investment banks, advisors, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product, R&D, sales, and operations leaders to evaluate “build vs. buy vs. partner” opportunities, ensuring alignment with company priorities.
- Establish frameworks for ongoing strategic alliance and OEM management to drive joint go-to-market initiatives, product integrations, and revenue growth.
- Provide competitive market intelligence and insights on industry trends, emerging technologies, and key players.
- Partner with the CFO on long-range growth planning and board-level communications related to corporate and business development activities.
- Lead post-acquisition and post-partnership integration efforts to ensure operational, cultural, and strategic alignment.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of experience in corporate development, business development, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital, with a strong focus on technology; cybersecurity experience preferred.
- Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and executing successful M&A transactions, OEM relationships, and strategic partnerships.
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in valuation, modeling, and deal structuring.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
- Highly strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable growth opportunities.
- Experience leading cross-functional, global teams and managing complex integration efforts across both acquisitions and alliances.
