Job Description Overview

Acronis offers Cyber Protection, an all-in-one solution that unifies the monitoring, control and protection of systems and data. We are seeking a Solutions Engineer who is a pre-sales engineer to facilitate this Cyber Protection.

In this role, you will work closely with the sales team on technical pre-sales activities to support the sales cycle. You will work with partners and customers to identify the features and benefits of the appropriate Acronis solution for cybersecurity, data protection, disaster recovery and asset management requirements to drive product and service adoption.

Job Description

  • Acquire thorough knowledge of Acronis products and services. Maintain knowledge of key industries and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Develop and develop relationships with key prospective customer stakeholders and influencers, focusing on market exploration, gap analysis, and development of new sales opportunities.
  • Analyze the technical and business requirements of prospective customers.
  • Develop business proposals outlining Acronis solutions for identified requirements and respond to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Perform onsite and remote meetings with prospective customers as an Acronis technology expert.
  • Demonstrate and promote Acronis products and technologies.
  • Conduct presentations on Acronis technologies and solutions to customers, partners, and the public.
  • Propose solutions aimed at solving customer business problems and act as technical advisors to customers.
  • Facilitate and manage the Acronis solution PoC.
  • Facilitate technical problem resolution during the pre-sales process.
  • Share customer and market feedback to Acronis product management, engineering, support and other relevant departments.
  • Provide custom customer training to instill knowledge of Acronis solutions.

  • Experience related to on-prem/cloud systems, server security
  • Storage, Backup, DR, BCP
  • VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
  • Operating System Linux/Unix/Windows/macOS
  • IT system administration or network administration experience
  • DLP (Data Loss Prevention)
  • XDR/EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response)
  • SIEM (Security Information Event Management)
  • Security products such as UTM/IDS/IPS/SOC
  • firewall, web security
  • Identity Management and Access Control (IAM, SSO, etc.)
  • You must use a wide range of skills to solve problems and build relationships internally and with partners and customers. As such, we are looking for people who:

  • AWS Certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps, Security, etc.)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Security Engineer Associate
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect/Security Engineer
  • CISSP(Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • Management Qualifications such as CISM, CISA, CCSP
  • CompTIA Security+, Network+
  • IPA Information Security Management Exam (SC)/Applied Information Technician (AP)
