Acronis is a global leader in cyber protection, delivering AI-powered protection for productive MSPs in a single, natively integrated platform that unifies operations management, cybersecurity, and data protection. Driven by our mission to protect, manage and automate every workload that businesses and lives depend on, we’ve built the industry’s only all-in-one solution.

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to join the Data Center Operations (DCO) Procurement team, supporting the delivery and movement of IT infrastructure hardware across Acronis' global data center footprint — spanning 50+ locations worldwide. This role is created in response to a significant increase in logistics volume driven by large-scale infrastructure procurement, with simultaneous delivery tasks across multiple countries currently in execution.

This position reports into DCO Procurement and works in close alignment with the Director of Global Procurement. In the near term, the focus is on managing the logistics of bulk hardware orders with speed and precision. As Acronis consolidates its procurement function into a unified global model, this role is expected to grow into a company-wide Logistics Specialist, supporting not only DCO but also IT, Events, and other business areas.

The right candidate combines hands-on logistics expertise — including international shipping, customs clearance, and VAT compliance — with the ability to leverage AI-powered tools to operate efficiently at scale in a fast-moving, globally distributed environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own end-to-end logistics coordination for hardware procurement across Acronis' global data center portfolio, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and infrastructure components.

  • Manage simultaneous inbound and outbound shipments to 50+ global locations, ensuring on-time delivery, accurate documentation, and compliance with local import/export regulations.

  • Handle customs clearance processes across multiple jurisdictions, including preparation and review of shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading).

  • Manage VAT and tax obligations associated with international hardware shipments, coordinating with Finance and external customs brokers to ensure compliance and avoid penalties or delays.

  • Coordinate directly with hardware vendors, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to track shipment status, resolve issues, and escalate blockers proactively.

  • Maintain accurate, real-time visibility of all active shipments in the logistics tracking system (Jira/DCOP ticketing), keeping stakeholders informed of ETAs, risks, and changes.

  • Identify planning gaps and process failures in the current logistics workflow; propose and implement systematic improvements to reduce delays and errors.

  • Leverage AI-powered logistics tools and automation to improve shipment tracking, document processing, risk detection, and communication — operating efficiently across a high volume of concurrent tasks.

  • Partner with the DCO Procurement team, site engineers, and Project Coordinators to align delivery schedules with infrastructure deployment plans.

  • Support the Unified Procurement team transition, ensuring logistics processes and institutional knowledge are transferred and documented as the organization scales.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in international logistics, freight coordination, or supply chain operations — preferably in a technology, hardware, or infrastructure-intensive environment.

  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-border shipments including customs clearance, import/export documentation, and carrier coordination across multiple countries simultaneously.

  • Working knowledge of VAT regulations and tax implications for international hardware shipments; experience coordinating with Finance and customs brokers on compliance matters.

  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of concurrent logistics tasks (50+ active shipments) with accuracy and composure under time pressure.

  • Familiarity with logistics tracking tools, ERP or procurement systems, and ticketing platforms (experience with Jira is a plus).

  • Practical knowledge of AI-assisted logistics tools — including AI-powered document processing, shipment tracking automation, or predictive risk tools — or demonstrable ability and eagerness to adopt these capabilities quickly.

  • Strong attention to detail with a structured, process-driven approach to problem-solving.

  • Clear, confident communicator in English; able to work across time zones and coordinate with vendors, freight providers, and internal stakeholders globally.

  • Self-directed and proactive — identifies and escalates risks before they become delays.

  • Experience working in a global, distributed organization is preferred.

Key Competencies

  • Operational precision— tracks every shipment, every document, every deadline without dropping details.

  • Process improver — identifies recurring failure points and fixes them systematically.

  • Cross-functional collaborator — works effectively across Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and vendor teams.

  • AI-enabled operator — applies automation and AI tools to stay productive at scale.

  • Escalation instinct— surfaces risks early; does not wait for problems to surface on their own.
