As a Junior Data Center Infrastructure Engineer, you will support day-to-day operational tasks across our data center locations. Working closely with senior engineers and vendors, you will assist with hardware installation, RMA processing, documentation, and routine infrastructure tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to build hands-on DC operations experience in a global environment.
Please note: This position is expected to be on-site up to three days a week at our facility in Deer Valley (Phoenix, Arizona).
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist with coordinating DC smart hands and contractors for hardware equipment tasks
- Help maintain and document DC infrastructure, including rack layouts and cable records
- Support hardware ordering requests from service teams
- Assist with managing spare parts inventory and tracking stock levels
- Help process new hardware deliveries and RMA requests
- Maintain and improve cabling organization and labeling
- Follow established procedures for hardware installation and decommission
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- 0–2 years of experience in a data center, IT operations, or similar hands-on technical environment
- Basic understanding of data center concepts: power, cooling, rack units, and hardware redundancy
- Some exposure to rack-mountable hardware and physical IT equipment
- Ability to follow and contribute to operational guides and infrastructure documentation
- Comfortable working with structured cabling and cable management for various IT equipment
- Attention to detail when tracking and maintaining asset records
- Basic familiarity with IT network topologies and common troubleshooting steps
- Willingness to learn hardware selection, integration, and basic load testing under guidance
- Fluent written and spoken English

US job posting pay transparency verbiage:
The US pay range for this position is $48,000 - $58,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum total target annual compensation for this role across all U.S. locations. The actual compensation offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
