Acronis offers Cyber Protection, an all-in-one solution that integrates system and data monitoring, control, and protection. As such, we are seeking a solution architect to promote this Cyber Protection initiative.

In this role, you will work closely with the sales team to conduct technical pre-sales activities that support the sales cycle. You will collaborate with partners and customers to clarify the features and benefits of appropriate Acronis solutions for requirements related to cybersecurity, data protection, disaster recovery, and asset management, and to promote adoption of our products and services.

As a security expert, you will provide technical support to the pre-sales team, clarify the challenges faced by partners and customers, and propose optimal implementations and solutions.
Additionally, in collaboration with the global security unit TRU (Threat Research Unit), you play a role in disseminating and raising awareness of security-related information to the Japanese market.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Acronis's products and services. Maintain knowledge of key industries and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Focus on market development, gap analysis, and developing new sales opportunities. Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders and influencers of prospects.
  • Analyze the technical and business requirements of prospects.
  • Create business proposals outlining Acronis solutions for identified requirements and respond to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Play the role of an Acronis technology expert, conduct on-site and remote meetings with prospects.
  • Demonstrate and promote Acronis products and technologies.
  • Conduct presentations on Acronis' technologies and solutions for customers, partners, and the general public.
  • Propose solutions aimed at solving clients' business problems and act as technical advisors to clients.
  • Facilitate and manage PoCs of Acronis solutions.
  • Manage the resolution of technical issues during the pre-sales process.
  • Share customer and market feedback with Acronis's product management, engineering, support, and other related departments.
  • Provide customized training for customers and help them deepen their knowledge of Acronis solutions.
  • Disseminate information and promote awareness of Acronis solutions at in-house activities and external events
  • Perform regular sharing of the latest threat information within the Japan team

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience related to on-premises/cloud systems and server security
  • Storage, backup, DR, BCP
  • VMware、Hyper-V、KVM、AWS、Azure、Google Cloud
  • Operating systems: Linux/Unix/Windows/macOS
  • Experience in IT system management or network management
  • DLP: Data loss prevention
  • XDR/EDR: Endpoint Detection and Response
  • SIEM: Security Information Event Management
  • Security products such as UTM, IDS, IPS, and SOC
  • Firewalls, Web Security
  • Identity management and access control (IAM, SSO, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • AWS Certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps, Security, etc.)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Security Engineer Associate
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect / Security Engineer
  • CISSP(Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • Management qualifications such as CISM, CISA, CCSP
  • CompTIA Security+、Network+
  • IPA Information Security Management Exam (SC) / Applied Information Technology (AP)
