Director, Demand Generation and Digital Marketing

LOCATION: USA - Remote (this is a remote role but candidate must be physically located in the United States OR Canada)

About the Role

GridGain is seeking an accomplished Director of Demand Generation and ABM. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this critical role will work closely with the marketing team to design and execute world-class demand generation and digital programs for GridGain’s leading unified real-time data platform.

The right candidate has a comprehensive understanding of implementing a wide range of demand generation and digital marketing initiatives that support both top-of-funnel and mid-funnel pipeline development for both enterprise and channel sales, as well as training. Key to success is deep expertise around the tools and technologies to enable the programs.


You will be a key member within the Marketing team, implementing our demand generation and digital marketing strategy, and will support pipeline development, lead nurturing marketing infrastructure, and other critical demand and digital activities in a data-driven and results-oriented environment.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and drive execution for all digital marketing campaigns including email, online events (both in-house and third-party), SEO, advertising, and general digital promotion.
  • Own the strategy and manage creation of paid search assets and content, and work with our paid search agency to implement and optimize adwords and display campaigns.
  • Own strategy and drive execution of webinars and other online events.
  • Own strategy and drive execution of in-person tradeshows and events including sponsored, customer, prospect, meetup, and partner events.
  • Own strategy and drive execution of other creative marketing programs.
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager of Content Marketing to leverage content for syndication and other demand generation campaigns.
  • Work closely with Marketing Ops and Sales Ops to ensure a smooth leak-free lead flow cycle.
  • Work daily in Hubspot and Salesforce to manage all inbound and outbound marketing activities and campaigns including data uploads, lead scoring, lead assignments, campaign management, IP-based targeting, ad retargeting and conversions.
  • Work daily in Qualified to highlight surging companies and manage experiences for the BDR team.
  • Structure, implement and manage lead nurturing programs, sales plays, and targeted outreach campaigns to support BDRs and lead generation goals.
  • Create landing pages, emails, drip campaigns, forms, workflows, newsletters, etc. in Hubspot.
  • Manage account and contact list development to support outbound campaign efforts.
  • Support data integration and data integrity initiatives through testing, list creation, list imports and batch updates.
  • Define and manage daily, weekly, and monthly campaign analytics and reporting.
  • Support marketing processes and initiatives through excellent communications.

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of work experience in demand generation, digital marketing, growth marketing, and account-based marketing (ABM) roles.
  • Passionate about driving pipeline and revenue.
  • Deep expertise in Hubspot marketing automation, including creating email blasts, drip campaigns, forms, landing pages, lists, workflows, reports and dashboards.
  • In addition to Hubspot, 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Salesforce, Qualified, Outreach, and BrightTalk or similar.
  • Demonstrated success in driving pipeline and revenue across a broad range of demand generating programs worldwide.
  • Hands-on experience in building and managing Google Adwords, LinkedIn Ads, ABM campaigns, in-house webinars, 3rd party campaigns, online events, and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Deep quantitative skills. Ability to analyze & develop complex business/marketing models for sophisticated acquisition programs.
  • Highly organized and systematic in evaluating demand gen opportunities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to coordinate among multiple teams across the organization and be a team player.
  • Ability to execute and problem-solve.
  • Great attention to detail, accuracy, process, and thorough analysis.
