As the Senior FP&A Manager, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a pivotal role within our finance team. This high-impact position offers significant visibility and frequent interaction with executive leadership. You will have the opportunity to engage cross-functionally throughout the organization, ensuring financial strategies align with corporate objectives. Initially an individual contributor role, this position offers the potential for team leadership and the opportunity to build and manage a finance team in the future.

In this role, you will be instrumental in the development, reporting, and benchmarking of key corporate operational metrics, contributing to our monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages. You will craft clear, concise presentations that provide insightful analysis, highlight actionable items, and effectively frame critical decisions for executive consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, report, and benchmark key corporate operational metrics in our monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including materials for the Board of Directors, Investor Presentations, and Executive Reporting.
  • Own and refine the forward-looking financial forecast models in Intacct to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate and recommend forecasting tools that best suit GridGain’s business needs.
  • Prepare succinct and impactful executive presentations that simplify complex topics, often under tight deadlines.
  • Identify and resolve reporting inconsistencies across business units, establishing standards for budgeting, performance metrics, and reporting.
  • Ensure financial strategies are seamlessly integrated with broader corporate and business objectives.
  • Build and automate the financial management reporting process, including KPIs, dashboards, business trends, and performance against plan.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for business improvement and provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
  • Guarantee the consistency and integrity of all metrics presented internally and externally.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and their implications for our business.
  • Collaborate closely with corporate accounting during the monthly close cycle.
  • Lead a wide range of ad-hoc projects and analyses.
  • Manage tasks independently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Potentially recruit, hire, train, and evaluate team members, making recommendations on promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 10 years of financial experience, ideally within the technology sector. Experience in enterprise subscription software is a plus.
  • Exceptional financial and quantitative skills, with a proven ability to solve complex business challenges through structured analytics and advanced Excel modeling.
  • Proficiency with Intacct and various forecasting systems, coupled with the ability to recommend those most suited to GridGain’s needs.
  • Expertise in Excel and Salesforce (SFDC) is essential; you must be a master in both to excel in this role.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, with the ability to align and resolve key business issues.
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to deliver compelling messages to senior leaders and drive effective decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities and the capability to build strong working relationships across the organization.
  • A demonstrated self-starter with a strong desire to grow with the company.
  • Decisive and committed in your decision-making, with a strong focus on results and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field is required. CPA or CFA certification is highly preferred.
