Why Hover Wants You:

As the Vice President of Revenue Operations at Hover, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of revenue strategy, sales operations, enablement and business systems. You will collaborate closely with the Sales, Analytics, Marketing, and Finance teams to drive revenue growth, streamline processes, and architect the way we look at the business.

Hover will be looking to you to help define our overall growth and revenue strategy long term. You will be someone who feels just as much at home at the whiteboard as you do in a spreadsheet, and you’ll be expected to help drive forward the discussion around the biggest go-to-market choices our sales team will make each season. How do we maintain sales efficiency? What playbook makes the most sense for a specific segment? How should we balance resources between our various teams and markets to drive velocity?

Success here will rely just as much on your former career experience as it does your creativity.

You will contribute by:

  • Building and leading a high-performing revenue operations and strategy team responsible for optimizing sales processes, driving revenue growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to align strategies and improve customer acquisition and retention.
  • Developing and implementing scalable processes, tools, and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Analyzing sales performance data to identify metrics, trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement from the individual rep level to the C-suite level.
  • Providing strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership, based on data-driven analysis and architecture.
  • Gathering and analyzing customer feedback, preferences and behaviors to refine revenue strategies. Identify expansion opportunities to increase customer lifetime value.
  • Championing a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and diversity within the revenue operations team and across the organization. Develop and manage the department’s budget and ensure effective resource allocation.

Your background includes:

  • 15+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related field, preferably in a high growth company. At least 8+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Ultimately, we would be relying on your ability to architect the way we watch our business and have experience and comfortability being in the weeds with data
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales automation tools, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization with Sales, Finance and Analytics leaders in particular.
  • A proven track record of inspiring a new standard of operational excellence across the organization- you should be able to zoom out and zoom in as needed and think several steps ahead to best set us up for success as we scale
  • Strategic thinking mixed with a strong bias to action- we want someone who has experience rolling up their sleeves and getting into the details while also defining a path toward a successful exit.

  • Compensation - Competitive salary and meaningful equity in a fast-growing company
  • Healthcare - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependents
  • Paid Time Off - Unlimited and flexible vacation policy
  • Paid Family Leave- We support work/life balance and offer generous paid parental and new child bonding leave
  • Mandatory Self-Care Days - A day set aside each month to allow employees to recharge
  • Remote Wellbeing Resources - We provide recurring fitness classes, meditation/ mindfulness tools, virtual therapy, and family planning assistance
  • Learning - We encourage continued education and will help cover the cost of management training, conferences, workshops, or certifications
