Hover is looking for a product leader to build out the next pieces of our marketplace, starting with our own take (and, soon, your take) on what makes radically better sales and marketing products for our construction and insurance customers and new verticals we haven’t dreamed up yet. We are looking for someone who can deliver magical experiences to both consumers and professionals in a vertical where information asymmetry is the norm, but not the way forward.

You’ll be going up against well-entrenched players in the industry so you need to be motivated by competition. You’re a builder and an evangeliser. You’ll have to wrangle individual customers both large and small, gain engagement of consumers, and shake up an entire market.

You will earn the business and loyalty of your users by creating compelling user experiences that simply produce better business results: more leads, more signed contracts, and happier homeowners. You'll do this through our translating our proprietary GenAI technology into consumer-grade products used by both sides of the marketplace.

This is a critical and highly visible role in a fast-growing company and also an opportunity to help to define and grow Hover’s culture.

You will be held accountable for:

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Productize our newest technologies (aka 0 to 1), take them to market, and establish us as the leader and new standard in the category
  • Execution: Executing against the product strategy and ensuring the cross-functional team is working on the right things at the right time
  • Team Development: Developing the interiors product team while maintaining a product culture that is consistent with our core values
  • Driving P&L of your business line and making it the fastest growing vertical at Hover.

You’ll start with:

  • Seasoned leadership in Product, Engineering, and Design and a world-class AI and mobile engineering team

If this position is wildly successful, in one year you will have:

Your background & qualifications include:

  • 10+ years defining, building, and shipping high-quality software in rapidly growing markets, including productizing computer vision, robotics, or machine learning products for non-technical users
  • You’ve created products that were radically better than the incumbent, not through clever optimization and testing but through creating a core experience that is undeniably more compelling
  • You operate with a founder’s mentality in everything you do
  • Customer centric focus with an obsessive need to wow and delight our users
  • Ability to move up and down between product strategy and day-to-day tactics
  • Ability to simplify the complicated and direct team members to the highest-leveraged activities
  • Exceptional communication, both verbal and written. You are equally comfortable presenting to internal teams or external customers & partners.
  • A passion for home (improvement, design, architecture, real estate)
  • Bonus points for experience in architecture, interior design, real estate, 3D tools, lead conversion/nurturing tools, and time spent in product marketing

Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 30-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least once a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $213,000-$243,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
