Hover is looking for critical thinkers who can execute on strategies to increase product adoption and drive revenue within a defined book of business. You’ll work cross-functionally with Hover Customer Enablement, Product Management, Marketing and Support to expand relationships with our existing customers by bringing transformative technology to the established Construction market, our largest vertical. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to be a strategic consultant to your accounts by understanding their business needs and applying effective solutions to solve their most challenging problems. We are looking for people who are mission and purpose driven to work alongside our existing team of other dynamic Small Business reps to contribute to a critical revenue stream for Hover.

You will contribute by:

As an Account Manager on the Small Business team, you will work closely with others around you both internally and externally to strengthen our already incredible culture and position in the market. You will own a book of Small Business accounts, and will renew (and upsell and cross sell new products to) our existing customers. You will effectively articulate the vision of Hover with executives within Home Improvement Organizations to help them understand how we are the best partner for them both near and long term to serve their customers. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to manage a large amount of customers and opportunities, while maintaining a high level of service to your accounts. Ultimately, you will lead by example by simultaneously living our values, hitting your targets, and having a growth mindset so you can grow both personally and professionally.

Your background includes:

  • 1+ years of experience in technology B2B sales, account management or business development
  • Proven track record of upselling and cross selling solutions into an existing books of business and exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience with maintaining high customer retention through ongoing value-delivery and effective renewal negotiations
  • Passion for building strong relationships with customers to establish yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Multi-faceted sales approach including collaborative selling with other internal and external partners
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to present to senior managers and the C-suite
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously at various stages of the buying process
  • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce
  • 25% travel required

Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 30-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least once a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles. This role is located in our New York City hub.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,000-$104,000 + commission annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
