You will work cross-functionally with key partners from across the business, including product, engineering, finance, accounting, sales, and customer operations to provide key analytical insights on core strategic projects and to inform development, implementation, and sustainment Operations throughout project lifecycles.
The Operations Team supports Hover’s growth by consistently giving our customers a high-quality product while maximizing internal efficiencies and effort. We are also responsible for pushing the boundaries of our data and production capabilities to enable Hover’s mission to digitize the world’s physical structures. We are a cross-cultural team, and we work closely with business partners both domestically and internationally.

Many analytics roles often leave people feeling like they are just churning out infinite dashboards, but not this one. Instead of just executing on a big list of ‘Asks,’ you’ll be joining a high-powered Operations team responsible for the real-time management of a robust production pipeline responsible for the fulfillment of day-to-day customer orders. You’ll get the opportunity to work cross-functionally, supporting several different high-priority initiatives for the business. You’ll build data-driven narratives to align stakeholders and answer complex questions enabling rapid and impactful business decisions.
As a Senior Analyst on our Operations team, you will work hand-in-hand with the other members of our operations team to manage, optimize, and adapt our production pipeline to ensure it can support our expanding product and customer base. You will provide and synthesize key data insights to enable the prioritization of operational process improvements, enhance and accelerate R&D efforts, and help diagnose & pinpoint root cause when operational KPI’s are outside of normal. You will also support monthly reconciliation for the Operations team, leveraging your deep understanding of our data to decrease COGS and drive profitability.
You’ll be biased towards action, and will always be excited to play devil’s advocate. You’ll iterate until things are looking good, but you’ll also know when things are ‘good enough’ and it’s time to move your focus elsewhere. You’ll know the size, shape, and scope of our operational pipeline better than anyone else, and this intuitive understanding of the numbers will be your superpower in group collaborations.

Your background includes
- 3+ years of work experience in data analytics, management consulting, business/revenue operations, strategy, or similar functions
- Comfortable manipulating datasets; SQL and Tableau proficiency required
- Experience synthesizing large amounts of data quickly and displaying it in a succinct manner that enables clear business decisions
- Proven ability to quickly climb new learning curves and add value; a self starter with the mind-set to roll up your sleeves and ‘figure it out’
- Excellent oral and written communication skills – can succinctly communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical senior leadership
- A sincere, collaborative, and empathetic personality characterized by a strong inclination to be part of a high-performing team of doers
- Experience structuring experiments / tests to drive data-backed decision making is a plus
- Experience framing and presenting data-backed stories to senior audiences and cross-functional groups a plus

Hybrid roles at Hover
Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 50-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least three times a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000 - $141,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
