At Nomagic, we’re on a mission to teach robots the real world. We’re now looking for a Machine Learning Director, who’s ready to deep dive into the hard problems of understanding the real world (trying to match with software the millions of years of development leading to the human hand + eye), guide and unblock multiple ML efforts, and collaborate closely with other parts of the organisation.

Some of the challenges you will face are:
- Lead multiple ML- or cross-functional teams and be responsible for task prioritization and delivery.
- Be proactive in capacity planning and roadmap-related activities.
- Standardize and unify our ML models and their deployment pipelines.
- Stay informed about the breakthroughs of state-of-the-art AI models.
- Be accountable for ML-related metrics of deployed models.
- Coach team members in delivering high-performance models and managing R&D activities.
What skills we’d like you to have:
- Experience leading a team successfully in building and deploying innovative ML-based products.
- 8+ years of experience working in the field of machine learning, including 5+ years of managing ML teams.
- Understanding capabilities of state-of-the-art AI models.
- Hands-on experience (current or prior) with implementing ML-based solutions.
- Creativity, ability to get things done quickly and against the obstacles, team spirit
- Excellent communication skills in English.
