Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Accountant to lead special accounting projects and support the accounting operations function. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level knowledge in various accounting areas and demonstrate a deep understanding of complex accounting principles, particularly in the context of the software industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase price accounting for software company mergers and acquisitions
• Implementation of specialized accounting software
• Forensic accounting investigations and reporting, utilizing advanced software tools
• Development and optimization of accounting processes and procedures for multi-entity, multi-currency operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification strongly preferred
• 7+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on project-based work in the software industry
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and software industry-specific accounting standards
• Proven expertise in M&A accounting and purchase price allocations for software companies
• Strong technical accounting skills, including proficiency in advanced Excel and industry-specific accounting software
• Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced tech environment
