We are a fully remote vertical SaaS company with $40M in ARR, 300 employees, and a global presence across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. With 1,500+ enterprise customers, multiple products, business units, and international subsidiaries, we are entering a new phase of disciplined growth and operational scale. We are seeking a strategic, hands-on CFO to lead our global finance organization and serve as a key member of our executive team.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the global finance function of our remote-first SaaS company operating at international scale. As a key member of the executive team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing corporate strategy, driving M&A initiatives, and guiding long-term growth plans. You will work closely with a high-caliber leadership team across multiple product lines and global markets to ensure financial strength, operational excellence, and business agility. What You’ll Own

You will be responsible for the full leadership of the finance function, including:

  • Accounting & Reporting: Oversee consolidated financials, accounting operations, audits (currently with a mid-size firm), and internal controls across all global entities
  • FP&A: Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and data-driven analysis to improve profitability and drive decision-making
  • Billing Operations: Manage enterprise billing through NetSuite across 1,500+ customer-specific contracts
  • Tax & Compliance: Oversee U.S. sales & use tax filings and ensure global tax and statutory compliance (e.g. India, New Zealand, Spain)
  • Payroll: Manage payroll across multiple countries via a combination of EOR platforms and in-house systems (e.g. Rippling in New Zealand)
  • Procurement: Own day-to-day procurement and vendor operations
  • Financial Systems: Maintain and optimize systems including NetSuite, Airbase (migrating from Ramp/Expensify), and Pulley
  • M&A & CorpDev: Lead corporate development including diligence, modeling, deal support, and full post-acquisition integration (accounting, payroll, finance systems) for 2–4 acquisitions per year
  • Equity & Debt Financing: Manage the capital structure, equity administration (via Pulley), debt facilities, and related financing initiatives
  • Entity Consolidation: Drive legal entity simplification across jurisdictions
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing, globally distributed finance organization across functions and time zones
  • Functional Breadth: Potential management of additional G&A functions including Legal and HR

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a CFO in a SaaS or complex global tech business
  • Deep understanding of SaaS economics, enterprise billing, and subscription models
  • Strong technical accounting background and hands-on familiarity with NetSuite
  • Demonstrated success managing global tax, payroll, and compliance
  • Experience leading M&A diligence and post merger integration from a finance/corp dev perspective
  • Familiarity with equity administration and debt/equity financing strategies
  • Experience managing international teams and navigating multi-entity, multi-product environments
