We are seeking a dynamic and experienced The Training developer , who will define and implement training programs for Virtuozzo. In this role you will be part SME (subject matter expert), part educator. On this position, you will be preparing training materials for partners and customers, to make them comfortable with virtualization software products they have purchased and enable them to deploy, implement and operate our platforms to enable business success.

What You Will Do

• Leverage your technical skills and knowledge and to scope and prepare lessons plans and content (80% self-study, 20% interacting with participants)
• Work with R&D, Marketing, and Sales teams to gather requirements for training courses
• Prepare courses and lessons for publication on LMS (Learning Management System)
• Publish and maintain courses and lessons on LMS (content and parameters only, LMS maintenance is not required)
• Facilitate in mixed learning classrooms – interact with course and lessons participants through Slack, email, and Zoom
• Collaborate with other educators across the organization Product Management, R&D, Support team, Sales team

Requirements (must Have)Technical Skills

• Linux: Basic level experience in any mainstream distribution, Red Hat/CentOS 7,8
• Network: understanding of core subnetting and routing
• Virtualization: understanding in single-host virtualization solutions administration
• Storage: basic understanding of vendor solutions (NAS/SAN/Hybrid) and software-defined-storage solutions (like Ceph, Nutanix etc.)

• Virtualization: single-host virtualization solutions administration; PSBM, OpenVZ, Virtuozzo, QEMU/KVM-based hypervisors
• Storage: hands-on experience with vendor solutions (NAS/SAN/Hybrid); experience with software-defined-storage solutions (like Ceph, Nutanix etc.)
