Virtuozzo is looking for an outstanding Business Development Representative (BDR)/Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sales team, who will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and a strong understanding of the IT business and channel business dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Virtuozzo is looking for an outstanding Business Development Representative (BDR)/Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sales team, who will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and a strong understanding of the IT business and channel business dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Conduct research to identify potential customers and markets within the IT sector.
- Utilize various tools and platforms to gather contact information and maintain an updated database of leads.
- Engage with prospects through cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking.
- Qualifying Leads:
- Assess the needs and challenges of potential clients to determine if they are a good fit for our IT solutions.
- Schedule and conduct introductory meetings to understand client requirements and introduce company offerings.
- Develop a deep understanding of channel business dynamics and leverage this knowledge to identify and qualify leads.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
- Provide detailed and accurate information to the sales team to facilitate the sales process.
- Participate in regular team meetings and strategy sessions.
- Follow-Up:
- Maintain regular follow-up with potential clients to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
- Update CRM system with accurate and timely information regarding leads and sales activities.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular reports on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and conversion rates.
- Track and analyze key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a sales, business development, or sales development role, preferably in the IT sector.
- Strong understanding of IT business principles and channel business dynamics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving targets
- Experience in the IT industry.
- Familiarity with lead generation tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of channel sales and indirect sales models.
