Virtuozzo is looking for a proactive and experienced Sales Engineer.

The sales engineer candidate is expected to be a professional who combines strong technical knowledge in IT systems and specifically in the areas of virtualization, networking, and hardware. combined with sales skills to help drive the sale of complex technological products, acting as a bridge between a company's technical offerings and a customer's needs by explaining intricate features, addressing technical concerns, and ensuring the solution aligns with the customer's specific requirements; our SE will be paired with the sales team in their region to identify potential opportunities, deliver technical presentations, and close deals by demonstrating the value proposition of the product or service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical expertise:

Deep understanding of Virtualization product specifications, functionality, and technical aspects to effectively tailor a solution that combine between customer needs to our solutions abilities and on the way answer customer questions and address concerns.

  • Customer/Resellers consultation:

Analyze customer and Reseller needs, identify potential applications, and design customized solutions to meet customer’s specific requirements.

  • Product demonstrations:

Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase product features and benefits, highlighting how our solutions can solve customer’s problems.

  • Sales support:

Collaborate with the sales team to qualify leads, prepare proposals, and provide technical expertise during the sales process.

  • Technical training:

Educate resellers and partner’s sales teams on product features, functionalities, and industry trends.

  • Competitive analysis:

Stay updated on competitor products and identify opportunities to differentiate the company's offerings.

  • Problem-solving:

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Relationship building:

Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer companies to foster long-term business partnerships.

Required Skills For a Sales Engineer

  • Technical knowledge:

In-depth understanding of our Virtualization products and or services being sold, including technical specifications and industry standards.

  • Communication skills:

Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.

  • Presentation skills:

Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations to showcase products benefits effectively.

  • Sales skills:

Prospecting, lead qualification, negotiation, closing deals, and managing sales cycles.

  • Customer service:

Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and address their concerns.

  • Analytical skills:

Evaluate customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.

Other Skills And Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of virtualization technics and solutions, to include storage technics, understanding of large IT environments to include networking, etc. and how to explain them to non-technical audiences.
  • Skilled in Salesforce CRM and lead generation platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI etc.

Language Skills

English: high proficiency, both spoken and written

Spanish: high proficiency, both spoken and written

Portuguese: ability to carry conversation with partners and customers in Brazil
