About Virtuozzo

Virtuozzo is a pioneer in software for hosting providers and cloud services, delivering a broad portfolio of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions on top of our cloud infrastructure.

Role Summary

You’ll join IT & Cloud Operations to keep our platforms secure, reliable, and efficient. The role blends internal IT with production operations: automate routine work, run OpenStack-based infrastructure, resolve incidents, and help colleagues via the helpdesk. You’ll also take part in an on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer Linux servers (RHEL/CentOS, Debian/Ubuntu), and core networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DHCP, firewalls).
  • Implement monitoring/alerting and capacity management (Zabbix/Prometheus/Grafana; logs via ELK/OpenSearch).
  • Troubleshoot outages, restore service quickly, and lead post-incident RCA documentation and follow-ups.
  • Provide daily IT support via the helpdesk; manage secure onboarding/offboarding and SaaS administration (incl. M365, SSO/MFA).
  • Maintain endpoint hardware (laptops, network equipment) and data-center documentation/runbooks.
  • Drive performance tuning, load testing, and reliability KPIs.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Automate routine tasks and workflows to improve operational efficiency (IaC/CM, CI/CD).
  • Document data center infrastructure, standards, and operational procedures.

What you bring

  • Hardware basics (servers, RAID/HBAs; iLO/iDRAC), strong diagnostics skills
  • Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DHCP, firewalls).
  • Virtualization: hands-on with KVM/QEMU and libvirt (VM lifecycle, networking, migration).
  • Automation tools; scripting in Bash and/or Python.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and identity/SSO/MFA.
  • Clear communication in distributed teams; English B1+.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, RHCA, or similar.
  • Previous experience in an IT helpdesk or support role.
  • Cloud: OpenStack experience is preferred.
