About the Position: Senior Technical Courseware Developer (San Jose, CA)
Responsibilities:
The Lead Technical Courseware Developer’s responsibility is to contribute in meaningful ways to all aspects of product related training development and delivery including in-flight standards and training best-practices.
Lead the delivery and management of technical enablement courses and programs including:
- Rapidly author, record, and edit focused technical training courses
- Lead development of eLearning course roadmap and learning plans
- Lead the enablement of our growing teams of Sales Engineers and Solution Architects internally and externally for our partners
- Help to edit, organize, and administer learning management system content
- Effectively partner with SMEs within engineering, product management, tech docs, customer support, pre-sales engineers, and certification development teams
- Consult as a trusted advisor with the Certification Program Lead on critical issues and decisions, both tactical and strategic
- May be called upon to lead development and delivery of live training courses, webinars, and technical onboarding of new employees, customers and partners
Qualifications
- 8+ years of validated experience in a combination of the following areas: automation, IT system design, architecture, operations, administration, or advanced technical training
- Demonstrate a general understanding of various IT/OT concepts (e.g. Compute, Storage, Networking, Database, Security, DevOps, edge computing, cloud computing, virtualization)
- Proven ability to develop impactful eLearning course experiences and video content
- More than 3 years of demonstrated ability leading live and virtual classroom training for related technology and products with high satisfaction scores is highly desired
- Forecast training demand and develop plans to address business needs
- Technical Degree (i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems) or relevant work experience
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
- Ability to travel as required (less than 10%)
- Ability to work independently with an ownership mentality in driving the product training roadmap
